Rachel Lee eats very well, which is a huge blessing. She is also a good sleeper, still eating at 8pm, solidly asleep by 9 then sleeping until 12am or 1, then back down until 4am or 5, and up for the day around 7am. It's beautiful.
Since Jeff is up early in the morning, we decided that he could take the 4am feed, and give baby girl a bottle. Now we have been offering Rachel Lee a bottle every night, and she takes about an ounce. We were hoping that meant she wasn't hungry, but now we know that meant she was asleep because when this girl is awake she will NOT take a bottle. In fact, she gets really, really really mad. Really. So, since she is 4 months and not taking a bottle we d ecided to start some baby oatmeal. So far, so good :)

colin won't take a bottle either...just got the baby cereal today and plan to try it tonight...hope it goes as well as rachel's first feeding!
what a big girl! I started Frankie on oatmeal at 4 months too, for similar reasons. I have no regrets! About anything, ever.
