More soccer
This is what makes all the time watching practices and games...that happy, smiling face. Melt my heart!
Golden Gate Bridge
We finally had a free Saturday with nothing planned so we took a family outing to the Golden Gate Bridge. We walked the one mile across and the one mile back!!
Okay, some were carried back...details! And sweet Kate complained on the way back that she didn't want to walk but wanted something - ANYTHING - with wheels for the way back. Jeff and I had a good laugh thinking about her plea for ANYTHING with wheels. But she made it back and caws quite proud of her 2 mile adventure.
Soccer
It seems like between practice and games we spend a lot of time on the soccer field...having fun if course!
The fun part of homeschool: Field trips!!
Hannah is graphing, Kate is reading about animals homes...put the two together and you gave the perfect reason for a field trip to the Oakland Zoo. This is the best part if homeschool...being with my girls, learning and having fun!

Kids and trees
My girls love climbing trees. We will go to a park, like this one, with 3 play structures and they spend the entire time climbing the tree and relaxing in the shade. I don't know what it is about trees, but they sure look cute on their little perches!

Schools out for summer!
We are done...phew...
Morning breakfast with the two kiddos that we watch in the morning...Riley (third grade) and Lucas (2 years old)
And I had to put this one of the girls covering their face because they wee giggling so much and it is a funny thing to do! Here is to the beginning of summer 2014...YAY!
Colorado Time!
I don't often get away...but this Labor Day weekend I booked a ticket to see my sister, Rachel, and Joe and Kara for the weekend. We played games, danced, told stories, ate, went to Starbucks, and enjoyed time together. It was a blessed weekend, and I hope there are more in the near future!
At Starbucks...I had my first pumpkin spice latte with these wonderful guys!
Father's Day...never too late to celebrate
So we celebrated Father's Day back in June, but with a dad like Jeff it's worth remembering in August...so here's to Jeff...the greatest dad to Hannah, Kate and Rachel Lee!
Kate took the last photo of herself and Jeff...look closely at the bottom and you'll see the top of her head.
And with a dad like my dad you should celebrate monthly...a great dad for sure!!
Soccer
Soccer has started, and unfortunately the teams were all full so we could only get Hannah in a team...but we will do something for Kate...and Rachel Lee...
