Lots of love and a little sadness...

Baby Emely is held and loved all day. Even when she's sleeping someone is eagerly awaiting their turn to hold her, feed her and/or read to and play with her. Often I hear, "But I only held her once today!" And I honestly think that Emely enjoys all the attention. If ever she doesn't have someone  besides her or holding her she'll call out with a few cute coos which progress in intensity until someone talks to her or picks her up. I think she'll be a social gal who loves people!!! And we sure love her!!

Okay, every so often she's a little sad, but even then she's not alone!

Basketball Season Begins!

At the first game I told Hannah that if she scores 10 baskets (20 points) this season she can have a sleepover. Game 1 scored 3 baskets...looking like she'll have at least one sleepover before the season's done!! This girl is on fire!!!

Cookie party with the Gliddon Girls

A Rainy Walk in the Redwoods

After our field trip we were driving home and although it had been raining and was sprinkling we stopped to hike for a bit...it was beautiful. The rustle of the trees, the rift patter of the rain and the quiet was soothing and peaceful. We laughed, the girls jumped in puddles and got wet, and on the walk back to the car they held hands and sang about puddles in their dicks. These are the moments I treasure in my heart...priceless moments with my gals.

Chabot Science Center

One of our favorite field trip spots is only 20 minutes away...we love it here!!

Decorating for Christmas

Lego Library Winners

Hannah and Kate have always wanted their Lego creation to be displayed in the library case after the library's  Lego Club Create time. This week we showed up late and the girls did not complete their creations, but they combined them at the end...Kate's car on Hannah's platform...and guess what was displayed this week...THEIRS!! Hannah then said, "I guess we can do more as a team!" I tested up because we absolutely can do more together...praise God we have each  other!

Gliddon Girls

We are so fortunate to live on a street with so many gals about our girl's ages. Meet the Glidfon Girls...

RL outfits

I've been asked so many times, "Does she dress herself?" Yes. Each and every day this gal never ceases to amaze me with her wardrobe combination...

Fort building

My girls are always building forts...at home, in trees at parks, friend's houses...you would think they they need said fort building experience for their survival. But really they just live creating...putting walls here, a floor there, a door or window for "natural light"... Maybe interior design or architecture is in their future..

Monterey Bay Aquarium

We took advantage of the homeschool day at Monterey bay aquarium again. We had such a good time. Emely was in my Ergo all day but I took her out so she could watch the feeding times and she was clearly mesmerized by everything just like the girls and I!!
