Three of a kind...
At the zoo today we got soooo many comments about their wild outfits...these girls being nearly endangered, wildest wild life, hot pink being a sign of venom...but quiet honestly these days are endangered...they are changing and growing and I'm truly blessed that these wild gals are mine!
Kate's 7th Birthday Party
We celebrated Kate's birthday in numerous ways...with the Murry family in North Caolina, as a family of 5 at home and with friends. They were all special
Times celebrating this special girlie...
For the party with friends we gathered at a park then went to the newly opened Mel's Play Place. Kids ran, bounced, slid snd played until we were tired...
My parents were able to come and spend the weekend with us! Yay! All in all, the day brought smiles to Kate's sweet face and we were able to gather together and treasure our caring and compassionate Catherine Grace.

Biking at Lake Chabot
Lake Chabot is the lake close to us that I enjoy running at. Unfortunately we have had more accidents at Lake Chabot than I care to remember, and after this last one with RL where she went over the handlebars I have decided no more biking at Lake Chabot until everyone is comfortable using their brakes!!
Megan!!! Off to Thailand!!
My friend from college, Megan, has decided to teach missionary kids for 2 years in Thailand! I will miss her but am so glad she is following where God leads!
Last hike: Bumpass Hell
On our way to the last hike we passed a snow mound at the base of the mount Lassen trail...that hike is a bit beyond our skil level...so we had to stop and throw snow balls!! Fun way to start our hike!!
The best part about Bumpass Hell is the views that surround you...the worst part is the sulfur smell!
Ever wonder what super dad looks like:

When we left Gannah cried and Rachel Lee began negotiating when we could go back. All in all is say that a clear sign that the trip was a hit with everyone!
Lassen National Park: Day 3, Father's Day
Sunday in Lassen was Father's Day, and I could look like the awesome ride that planned a really fun camping trip, but honestly Jeff planned the trip and neither he nor I knew it was Fathers Day weekend when we started...but it still was an incredible day together celebrating what a special father Jeff is!!
