The other day we went to the beach to play, and then following day it hailed!! Three times!! The girls and I loved it and were able to put on our rain coats and play with the hail.
Kate wanted to put some snow in her pocket for later. I asked her, "What do you know about snow?" and she replied, "It's cold." "What else," I asked, "It usually rains," she answered. "And, what happens when snow gets warm?" I asked, "Oh, it melts." I just love her thought process and all the things she says!
We even turned our slide into a snow run...kinda...
But little did Ellie know that while she was distracted the jester was trying to take her paci!
Yes, Rachel Lee, at two years old, would like a paci. She often cries and asks for one when she sees Ellie get her paci. The sad part is that Rachel Lee can speak in sentences now, and is still asking, "Mama, I wat da pac-i-fire!" Yet one more way that I know that RL is too old for a paci.
