Thanksgiving with the Extended Nichols Crew
Because one day of feasting wasn't quite enough, we extended Thanksgiving with the extended family...pun intended. More food, more people, more laughing, more games, more eating, more kids...LOTS of kids. My Papa had 17 of the 19 great grandchildren, and 9 of his 10 grandchildren were there, and all 4 of his children were there. It was a fantastically full fun filled day (alliteration also intended).
Thanksgiving with the Nichols Crew
It was another turkey filling Thanksgiving with my folks in Brea. We laughed, ate, played games, went to the "park" (a.k.a school but we call it the park because Natalie doesn't like going to the "school" where she has to drop off Amy), and of course the typical family picture which everyone kinda groans about but in the end actually loves. Yes, you all can thank me later...really, please do thank me later. It was a lot of work :)

SEA WORLD!!
Beach Time in Novemeber
My Aunt Joanna and Uncle Donald went camping in NOVEMBER, and invited us to join them for a quesadilla roast. I loved the sunset, and the feeling that we were camping without having to set up a tent or pack up a cooler of food. I think it was one of

the best camping trip I have ever taken...short and sweet!
New Wheels
We started our Thanksgiving break being thankful for my dad's new truck. He wasn't terribly excited about it, but with California laws changing he needed a new truck, and let me tell you his new wheels are AWESOME! We looked at the truck, then climbed inside and he took us for a smooth ride.

One of my fondest memories about being a kid was getting to see my dad at work. I loved seeing his truck and the fork lift, and I loved standing next the wheels showing off my muscles...it's fun to see my kiddos doing the same thing. Good time, and times I am very thankful for!
Travel back in time a bit...
Thanksgiving is long over, Christmas is done, New Years has come and gone, and yesterday we celebrate Baby Boo turning three. Sprinkle in some class parties, park play dates, pizza with the principal, gardening with the girls and all kinds of other fun family events and I am light years behind on my blog. But, the good news is that we have been living life to the fullest and enjoying our time together...I just haven't had a free moment since before Thanksgiving...seriously...it's a good and busy life for sure! But, as I edit my blog from 2012 and 2013 to turn into our family photo album I am reminded how much I love blogging and looking back on the good old days (and some not so good old days). I have put the editting aside and will focus on updating. So, the next few blog posts will be a travel back in time...ENJOY!
